Street dogs are everywhere in Goa, but many of the resorts adopt a few and care for them. The mama ran off before they could have her fixed, but she came back to have her four babies. An organization called Welfare for Animals in Goa goes around vaccinating the street dogs, giving them heart worm pills, and fixing as many as they can. Their website is www.wagoa.com.
